Eclipse was founded by IT professionals who fell in love with wine. Before planting a single vine, the founders studied the great estates of California, France, and Italy - learning what separates good wine from exceptional wine.
The team spans seven countries - engineers, oenologists, sommeliers, IT specialists, and photographers united by a single obsession.
Terroir
35 hectares. Four plots. One valley.
The vineyards sit in the Alazani Valley, Kindzmarauli zone - a terroir remarkably similar to Napa Valley in climate, with over ten distinct soil varieties across the estate. Many vines exceed 30 years of age. The winery was built within the vineyards themselves to minimize the journey from vine to press.

Red dry wine “Esabi Noble” is made from Saperavi grapes grown in Kakheti. The wine was aged for twelve months in Italian style oak barrels and for another three months in French oak barrels. The wine is cherry colored. It is characterized by aromas of cherry, black currant, caramel and vanilla. The wine has a medium body, balanced and harmonious taste.

Amber dry wine “Mzis Tvali” is made from Rkatsiteli grapes grown in Kakheti. Fermentation took place in an Italian amphora, with a six month delay on full chacha. After fermentation, the wine was aged in French oak barrels for twelve months. The wine is amber in color. It is characterized by aromas of dried apple, vanilla and spices. It is distinguished by velvety tannins, and a balanced and harmonious taste.

Red dry wine “Pirimtvarisa” is produced from Saperavi grapes grown in Kakheti. After fermentation the wine is aged for twelve months in French oak barrels. “Pirimtvarisa” is auburn in color, exuding aromas of blackberry, vanilla, and cherries. The wine has a balanced body, balanced acidity, and a harmonious flavor profile.
