8000 History

Founded in 2004, Georgian Vine and Wine traces its roots to the heart of Kakheti, in the village of Velistsikhe. At the center of our portfolio is our flagship brand, 8000 Stories. We specialize in both classical European and traditional Qvevri wines, sourcing grapes exclusively from our own vineyards located in the distinguished microzones of Kakheti. With a collection of over 130 Georgian grape varieties, we craft wines of exceptional quality. Since 2016, our expertise has expanded to include the art of aging fine brandy spirits. From the very beginning, our commitment to excellence has earned recognition across the globe, with exports reaching Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, China, Central Asia, Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium. In 2021, we embarked on the construction of our visionary Château, a project that embodies our dedication to tradition and innovation. The estate will feature two traditional Georgian wine cellars, refined restaurants, underground cellars, a luxury hotel, a swimming pool, spaces for immersive masterclasses in Georgian cuisine, and distinctive vineyards.
