Our History
Kakheti. Since 1920.
Our story begins long before Rtvelisi was officially established. It can be traced back to 1920, when a historic patriarchal cellar, passed down through generations, was lovingly restored. Today, this very cellar continues to house the heart of our production.
The company was founded by friends who had owned vineyards in Kakheti for years and were dedicated to viticulture and winemaking.

The Name
Our name is a homage to the Georgian tradition of “Rtveli” - the sacred act of grape picking. Born in the harvest season, a time of celebration, unity, and gratitude for the vine, it is an 8,000-year-old ritual that binds our people to the land.
From the very first day we set out with a clear purpose: to craft wines of uncompromising quality and unforgettable taste, carrying Georgia's winemaking heritage into the future - in both the Georgian and international markets.
